Flamed Beech Tango Stools

These Flamed Beech Tango Stools were made from a tree felled in Ahane Co. Limerick back in 2015. Beech is normally a pale colour with little grain figure however once a Beech reach 150 years or more it begins to harden form the centre outwards giving extraordinary colours and figure, these ones display oranges yellows and pinks.

Originally designed as a wedding gift the Tango Stools feature hidden magnets in the seats allowing them to work as one seat or two. The stool is one of the oldest forms of furniture, a place to sit, to chat, to relax – the pairing was intended to give the couple somewhere to do those things with each other while also acting as an occasional seat or seats when the need arises.

Each leg is hand turned and the stools themselves are made from a variety of native and non-native hardwoods.

Personalised inscriptions are possible – please contact for further information.
